Within Camden’s custom customized test buildings, NTS performs environmental simulation testing on hazardous test items at altitudes to 90,000 ft, temperatures from -68 C to +121 C (-90 F to +250 F), and Relative Humidity to 95%. Chamber capacity ranges from 19 ft3 to 900 ft3 with multiple reach-in and walk–in chambers available.
A Temperature / Humidity / Altitude chamber 3.4 m diameter x 7.6 m long (11 ft x 25 ft) is available for oversize test items, including small vehicles and weapons systems. This chamber was used to test the GBU-43/B.
