EMI & RFI
NTS is an industry leader in EMI & RFI testing, mapping and analysis and regularly conducts programs both in-house and on-site to the latest nuclear standards. Utilizing the largest shielded enclosures available and state-of-the-art equipment, NTS can provide advanced EMI/EMC capabilities. NTS engineers also play a critical role in developing those same standards. NTS performed the EMI/RFI mapping that forged the boundary conditions on the original EPRI TR-102323 (Electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) qualification of digital equipment for nuclear power generating stations) specification. NTS participates in the EPRI Committee for revisions to the EPRI TR-102323 document.
As the industry looks ahead to digital upgrade programs, EMI mapping and testing are increasingly important. NTS is now working with various utilities to create Electromagnetic Interference baseline maps that will be maintained by NTS.
