GR-487-CORE

GR-487-CORE Issue 2, (Generic Requirements for Electronic Equipment Cabinets) outlines the test methods and acceptance criteria for outside plant telecommunications equipment cabinets. Outdoor equipment cabinets which successfully complete the GR-487-CORE testing would be acceptable to telecommunications carriers to house and protect telecommunications equipment that meet the applicable test requirements of GR-63-CORE Issue 3 and GR-1089-CORE Issue 4.
