NTS USB Golden Suite

In the real world, it's not enough for a USB device or hub manufacturer to simply prove that it has correctly followed the USB specification. You can never be sure what revision level of machines or subtle differences a device will have to contend with in the field. The bottom line is that you don't want to spend all of your time debugging other manufacturers' designs. But you do need to know what's out there in order to defend your own design against potential failures in the hands of real-world users.

The testing covers all USB chipsets using up to 200 USB devices and peripherals, along with supporting operating systems including Apple Mac OS X®, Microsoft Windows 98® , Microsoft Windows 2000®, Microsoft Windows XP®, Microsoft Windows Vista®, Microsoft Windows Server 2003®. NTS's USB Golden Suite test procedures consist of five (5) major coverage areas: Installation Testing; Device Functionality Testing; Interoperability Testing; Hot Detach/Reattach Functionality Testing; and Power Management Functionality Testing.
