Transportation & Automotive Sector Services
NTS provides a full range of transportation-oriented programs. From finite element analysis for modeling simulation, hybrids and hydrogen engine performance to NTSB compliance testing of in-tire pressure sensors, airbags and vehicle stabilization systems for the growing transportation industry, NTS can meet any customer requirement. Light rail, bus, and military vehicles undergo evaluations as do airframe structures and electronic components requiring GMW 3172, DO-160 and FAA certifications.
NTS has provided automotive testing solutions for upfront design and verification services both domestically and internationally. The automotive testing performed by NTS covers safety, reliability, product longevity, and durability and functionality measures. NTS acts as an extension to your product development team, and provides you with expert automotive engineering solutions. These solutions will help you address regulatory, safety, and service considerations early in the design process. Our engineering group can provide design guidance and review to help minimize delays with the testing and approval process. NTS engineers work with your current team to support compliance, reliability, software, and engineering and program management services.
As a leader in automotive quality management, the NTS ISO registration group, NQA, performs TS 16949 quality registration. Our technical teams provide on-site asset management services and collects instrumentation data from field performance road testing. Real-time Internet monitoring and data acquisition accelerate program completion. Registration will help you meet customer needs, improve products and processes, supply chain management, and reduced variation and waste, as well as increasing efficiency and common language to improve understanding.
The experience and expertise we have gained over the years allows us to offer in-house laboratory management for organizations who have invested in the capital equipment needed for in-house automotive testing, but find that the laboratory is under utilized. For example, in April 2007, NTS entered into a business agreement with Eaton Corporation to provide management of their 4,600 square-foot Southfield, Michigan test facility. This arrangement allows Eaton to retain their on-site test capabilities, as well as enabling them to expand their vibration test capabilities by 40 percent, and increase chamber capacity by approximately 20 percent. Contact NTS to find out how we can help your organization increase revenue by eliminating the profit drain of an under utilized laboratory, while retaining the on-site capabilities you require.
We look forward to helping you solve your current design and evaluation challenges. Contact us today!
